Visit by ANC YOUTH League
A delegation from the African National Congress Youth League, led by the League’s President Mr Julius Malema, shall visit the BDP Youth League from the 31st October 2008 to the 2nd November 2008. The main purpose of the visit is the growth of relations between the ANCYL and the BDPYW. The BDP Youth Wing believes that it shall learn a lot for m the ANC Youth League, which was formed by Nelson Mandela in 1954. The ANCYL has a variety of interests in many areas of business in South Africa. Their active participation in the political process in South Africa, before and after independence, remains an inspiration to many. The visit, signals the enviable relationship between the Botswana Democratic Party and the African National Congress as demonstrated by among others the invitation by each party, to the other, to their conferences s\and congresses. On the 25th August 2008, a delegation from the BDP, comprising the party Chairman Hon.
