Welcome to the BDP Women's Wing Website. Our main objectives as a political organ include among others;
To raise the political consciousness of women and to encourage them to take active part in politics,
including presenting themselves for seeking political office.

Last year has seen the largest number of women standing for Bulela Ditswe Primary Elections in the history of the Botswana Democratic Party.
The majority of wards and and constituencies has atleast one woman candidate standing. "This as a step in the right direction, and we need to make 2009 a success also", the Women's Wing Secretary has observed.
