including presenting themselves for seeking political office.

This year has seen the largest number of women standing for Bulela Ditswe Primary Elections in the history of the Botswana Democratic Party.
The majority of wards and and constituencies has atleast one woman candidate standing. "This as a step in the right direction", the Women's Wing Secretary has observed.
